What we do.
What does the Pathmakers Foundation do?
We are a venture philanthropic foundation working with ministry leaders engaged in community economic development.
Who do you work with?
We work with Pathmakers. A Pathmaker is a leader pushing the bounds of what's possible with new ideas, new models, and new collaborations.
We get to work for you either by being a foundation grantee or through our fee-based advisors department. Once you have been identified as a Pathmaker then we get on the ground floor and start working the problem at your direction.
Our Vision is to discover, fund, and walk with leaders who create effective, self-funded organizations, revitalizing strategic and marginalized communities one zip code at a time.
What does that mean?
We do not envision for you. We put real-world solutions and strategies to your vision so that you can accomplish your mission.
We use a hybrid of public theology, design thinking, new legal structures, liberal economics, and tactical business tools to create economic engines and other sources of revenue in a three fold matter so: a.) You are socially and economically embedded in the community. b.) You are not dependent on a single source of income. c.) So you can stay on mission!
